L.A. Catering is a proud division of LifeCare Alliance, which has been serving the local community since 1898 with outstanding service through its nutrition and health programs. All profits from L.A. Catering are reinvested in LifeCare Alliance to support older adults, medically challenged and disabled individuals in central Ohio. What kind of events do you cater?

We are a full service caterer that can accommodate parties of 20 to 2500 guests. We cater weddings, fundraising galas, social gatherings, corporate events, tailgates, backyard BBQs, and graduation parties. Below are the different ways of holding your event:

Pick Up: This allows you to pick up your order at our kitchen. This is not a common option however; it allows you to save a little time and money.

Drop Off: This option is one of our most popular. We simply deliver your order in disposable containers (foil pans, wire racks, cardboard coffee boxes, etc) and you handle clean up. There is a delivery fee with this option.

Buffet: Let us handle all the heavy lifting with this option. We will prepare the buffet tables and dining area including linen, glasses, flatware, china, etc. Additional charges may incur with this option.

Plated/Stationed: This is our most prestigious option. It includes an elegant touch of professional service and allows our Executive Chef to even cook the meal on site!

Am I able to place a last minute order? What is your policy?

Generally, we would prefer orders to be placed 48 hours before your event; however, we understand that life isn’t always perfect. We always do our best to accommodate any situation and order.  Give us a call as soon as possible with all the details to see if we have the availability to complete your order. For last-minute intimate orders for 20 people or less, we are happy to place an order through our sister café. Orders through Carrie’s Café can be placed within 24 hours. What is the service fee?

The 18% service fee is a standard catering fee which is applied to all staffed events. This is to cover fluctuating operational costs for things such as: insurance, advertising, administrative staff, vehicle maintenance and fuel to get to events.

What if my guests have any dietary restrictions? Are you able to accommodate these requests?

We are more than happy to assist you to accommodate any special dietary needs including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, food allergies etc. We will clearly label any special meals for each of your guests. Our menu is labeled accordingly for all sorts of dietary restrictions. Please give our Sales Team a call for any special accommodations.

Do you have a liquor license? Can we have alcohol at our event?

Yes & yes! L.A. Catering has a full-service liquor license from the State of Ohio. We have a D-5 license from the State of Ohio. The D-5 is for “spirituous liquor for on premises consumption only, beer and wine for on premises, or off premises in original, sealed containers, until 2:30 a.m.” Occasionally, a special permit is required under certain circumstances. Currently L.A. Catering only provides alcohol to our catering clients. Please call our Sales Team for any further alcohol related questions.
